Keep Being Creative – September Challenge – Day 4, September 4 2020
I found out late on Friday that someone I know was having a birthday on Monday – a holiday – of course! So I had to do my best to get a card done and get it in the mail ASAP. I love the Queen and Company sentiment stackers kits for this. I wanted a masculine feel to the card, so I used their Hero Sentiment Stacker Kit and was largely inspired by a slimline card design shared by Ginger Williams.
I used a similar layout, with a few different papers and bling I had on hand and this card was done! I used a larger stamp I have from The Stamps of Life that says “happy happy happy BIRTHDAY” for the inside, which took up enough space that I didn’t feel I had to write a long message.

The Sentiment Stacker Kits from Queen and Company are great because everything coordinates so well and their adhesive foam is perfect for the large die cut words. The foam and the bling are a little bit raised, so I just cut an extra piece of cardstock to cover the front of the card for mailing.
I hope the recipient enjoys this card!
